  LES FARRINGTON

9:00 pm - Alternating Wednesdays

With schizophrenic musical influences such as Scissor Sisters, Marylin Manson, Nine Inch Nails and George Gershwin in his musical bag, it's impossible to predict what you’re going to hear next at one of Les Farrington’s shows. Dallas' own Farrington springs from a family of musicians, and his love of music goes back to his childhood.  In high school, Farrington remembers listening to the likes of punk bands like the Sex Pistols and New Wave artists like Devo and the Cars before they were considered cool.  In 1998, Farrington became the front man for local band Sugarbomb, and the band’s retro-punk sound and bawdy onstage antics attained the attention of RCA records, culminating in the  CD release ‘Bully’.  Now a soloist, Farrington still finds time to work on commercial and collaborative projects in his home studio and performs at Alexandre’s every other Wednesday night.  FDA!
